Panjab University (PU) Chandigarh campus provides a variety of modern infrastructure and facilities for the student's convenience and to enhance their social and academic experiences. The centrally air-conditioned campus library is divided into several sections and two reading halls and houses a large collection of printed and digital materials including over 6.4 lakh print publications, 1490 manuscripts, online full-text journals, CD-ROM databases, and e-databases. The library can accommodate 500 readers.
Male and female students are accommodated separately in 17 fully furnished hostels. 8 for male students and 9 for female students. There are 2 sports hostels available as well. A variety of indoor and outdoor sports facilities are available to promote the students' overall development including an air-conditioned gymnasium hall, an international-level swimming pool, a 400-meter grassy athletic tracks, two cemented basketball courts, four volleyball courts, one hockey ground, two football grounds, two Kho-Kho courts, two kabaddi courts, three softball grounds, two cricket grounds, one netball ground, two synthetic lawn tennis court, one korfball ground, 8 lawn tennis courts, one cinder lawn tennis court. A 10-meter shooting range of international standards is also provided.
The entire campus of PU Chandigarh is Wi-Fi enabled and has well-maintained and well-equipped classrooms, laboratories, a canteen, seminar halls and an outdoor amphitheatre, all of which make it self-contained and enhances the learning experience. Medical and emergency services are provided by qualified medical personnel. Panjab University Chandigarh has its own fleet of buses for the transportation of students. ATM and banking services are also offered on campus.
