Nitte Gulabi Shetty Memorial Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Mangaluru (NGSMIPS Mangaluru), was established in 1983 and is a constituent college of Nitte (Deemed to be University). Admission Procedure
N.G.S.M. Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Mangaluru conducts its admission process according to the admission guidelines of the Pharmacy Council of India. The students interested in seeking admission at NGSMIPS Mangaluru can apply through the official website of the institute. The admissions for the diploma and undergraduate degree course of Pharmacy are made according to the merits secured through the 10+2 or equivalent examinations from a recognised board with PCM or PCB along with English as a subject. The admissions for the Pharma.D or the postgraduate degree courses are made according to the merits secured by the applicants in their undergraduate degree course in Pharmacy. For the selection of the applicants for the doctoral degree programme, the applicants are selected according to the merits secured by the students in their postgraduate degree course in Pharmacy from an institute recognised by the Pharmacy Council of India.
