Nesamony Memorial Christian College (NMCCK), Kanyakumari is a private science and humanities college affiliated with the Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli. NMCC, Kanyakumari is a University Grants Commission (UGC)-recognised college and traces its inception back to Reverend James Emlyn’s buying of the land on which NMCC is currently sited and establishing a boarding school there. The requirement for a Christian college at Marthadam resulted in the foundation of the Christian College in June 1964 by the Church of South India’s Kanyakumari Diocese. Nesamony Memorial Christian College, Kanyakumari was finally inaugurated on August 6, 1964, by Kanyakumari’s inaugural bishop Isaac Richard Harrison Gnanadason.
NMCC Kanyakumari is situated on a 32-acre wi-fi campus in Marthandam, Tamil Nadu and offers excellent infrastructural facilities like ICT-enabled classrooms, a well-stocked library, well-equipped laboratories, air-conditioned seminar halls, an indoor stadium, playgrounds, hostels, and a cafeteria.

Admission and rankings for UG admission, except for BA Tamil English, will be based on candidates’ marks in part III of the HSC out of a total of 400. Candidates seeking admission into PG courses will be admitted based on the marks of the qualifying examination. Candidates are required to attain a minimum of 55% marks in postgraduation and should pass the MS University's eligibility test for M. Phil. admission at NMCC, Kanyakumari.

The marks of the qualifying examination (Major and Allied) alone shall be taken into consideration for admission to all PG programmes (Except MBA and MCA). 55% in postgraduation and should pass the M.S. University's eligibility test are requirements for M. Phil. admission at NMCC, Kanyakumari.
