Courses offered by NSoJ Bengaluru include B.A.(Hons.) in Journalism, B.A.(Hons) in Psychology, B.A.(Hons.) in English and B.A.(Hons.) in Political Science in accordance with the National Education Policy, 2020 (NEP) which was implemented for the first time in the country by the Government of Karnataka. Students must have passed their 10+2 school leaving examination from a recognised board of secondary education with a minimum score of 60%. Admissions are done through an online application process. The selection process is based on Objective Structured Assessment (OSA), which will comprise an hour-long written examination designed to test the candidates’ fitness and aptitude for the course along with an interview. Besides, eligible students can avail merit scholarships which include 'The Truth and Justice Scholarship' covering full tuition fees. There is an availability of financial aid for deserving students. The academic facilities provided by NSoJ Bengaluru include a well-stocked library, computer laboratories, editing studios, spacious classrooms, a news room, along with on-campus Wi-Fi access and a cafeteria.
