National Law University, Jodhpur (NLU Jodhpur), located in Rajasthan laid its foundation stone in 1999 with a major aim to produce efficient lawyers and legal scholars for the well-being of society. It is an autonomous university which has been approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and the University Grants Commission (UGC).

To provide an exceptional academic environment,NLU Jodhpur holds a world-class faculty of highly qualified professors who have degrees from eminent universities like the University of California, Oxford, Warwick, Sydney, King's College, and the University College of London. Guest lecturers are also invited to enhance the learning experience for students.

NLU Jodhpur is a co-ed university which offers undergraduate courses like B.A LL.B (Hons) and B.B.A LL.B (Hons) with a duration of 5 years. Students willing to take admitted to NLU Jodhpur have to appear for the Common Law Admission Test(CLAT). All the eligibility criteria should be met by candidates for admission which is merit-based. A comprehensive internship programme of four and six weeks is offered to eligible students. Top-notch companies such as Juris Corp, Khaitan & Co., Trilegal, Economic Law Practice, Deutsche Bank, Infosys Ltd., Porsche, IndusLaw, DSK Legal, and Reliance take an active part in placement drives conducted by the university.

To provide an exceptional learning experience, NLU Jodhpur offers a traditional as well as a digital library, computer lab, 2 moot courts, Wi-Fi enabled campus and air-conditioned classrooms. Besides, students are also provided with other major facilities like bus services, separate hostel accommodation for boys and girls, indoor and outdoor sports facilities, a large auditorium, seminar halls, an air-conditioned board room, an amphitheatre, an on-campus ATM, and a cafeteria.

Admission Procedure

At the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels, National Law University, Jodhpur offers courses. Under its five-year integrated UG programmes, they provide B.B.A + LL.B (Hons) and B.A + LL.B (Hons). Candidates must take the Common Law Admission Test(CLAT) in order to be considered for admission. After confirming that they meet all eligibility requirements, applicants must submit an application for admission to NLU Jodhpur

NLU Jodhpur also offer LLM, MBA and PhD program. Candidates must take the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) in order to be considered for LLM admission. A Bachelor's Degree with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 50% in any discipline, including B.E./B. Tech, from an accredited university For selection into an MBA programme, the applicant must have qualified for any one of the entrance tests- Common Admission Test (CAT), Management Aptitude Test (MAT), or Common Management Admission Test (CMAT).  For admission to the PhD programme, master's degree holders in law must have an overall GPA of at least 55%. At the beginning of each academic year, the university will hold a National Level Entrance Test for candidates applying to the PhD programme.

With a fair mix of young associates who are both highly qualified and experienced, National Law University, Jodhpur is home to eminent professors of national acclaim. Some of the professors have degrees from prestigious universities such the University of California, Oxford, Warwick, Sydney, King's College, and University College of London. They have also held positions in international organisations and foreign law schools. Additionally, NLU Jodhpur invites eminent professors to give lectures as visiting faculty. For the benefit of the students, the NLU Jodhpur Alumni Visiting Faculty Program allows select alumni with advanced degrees from reputable institutions and a variety of experiences to share their knowledge on current legal issues.

Placements

For both undergraduate and postgraduate students, National Law University, Jodhpur offers a comprehensive internship program. Every year, the internship program has been integrated into the curriculum which lasts between four and six weeks, to achieve the goal of ingraining practical knowledge on the applicability of law and learning law in action. Students have completed internships at reputable senior advocates' firms, the Honorable Supreme Court, and Honorable High Courts. NLU Jodhpur attained some of the best placements in India and abroad due to their dedication, strong legal knowledge, and desire to advance. Juris Corp, Khaitan & Co., Trilegal, Economic Law Practice, Deutsche Bank, Infosys Ltd., Porsche, IndusLaw, DSK Legal, and Reliance are a few of the companies where the students have interned and been placed.
