The National Law Institute University (NLIU Bhopal), located in Bhopal, is one of the esteemed law universities that provide quality legal education as well as training to students to become professionals in the field of law. NLIU Bhopal offers an undergraduate course of B.A.LL.B (Hons) with a duration of 5 years. Students must have passed their 10+2 school leaving test from a recognised board of secondary education. Candidates have to appear for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) and the selection will be made on academic merit. Admission is conducted online.

A placement cell at the NLIU Bhopal prepares students for the placement processes through workshops, industrial visits, guest lectures, seminars, group discussions, mock interviews, and other activities. Legal firms and organizations such as Khaitan and Co, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Trilegal, Centre for Business and Commercial Law, I-PAC, Aditya Birla Group, and Goldman Sachs are among the top recruiters. Placement drives at the NLIU observe the highest package of 14 LPA.

Admission Procedure

National Law Institute University, Bhopal offers B.A LL.B (Hons) at the undergraduate level. Admission to NLIU Bhopal is done online, using the university's official website. The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) scores are used to determine admission to the B.A LL.B (Hons) degree. To be eligible for admission to B.A LL.B (Hons), a candidate must have completed Class 12 in any subject. The HSC and CLAT scores will be used to determine the final selection of students.

NLIU Bhopal also offers LLM, PhD courses and a Master of Cyberlaw and Information Security. Candidates seeking admission to the LLM course must qualify CLAT exam and pass a bachelor's degree in Law. Admission to PhD program is done through an All-India Entrance Test conducted by the University.

NLIU Bhopal maintains a placement cell that works with firms to organize placement drives and prepares students for the placement processes through workshops, industrial visits, guest lectures, seminars, group discussions, mock interviews, and other activities. The majority of students who participate in the placements are hired by legal firms, organizations, and litigation firms. Some students also chooses to pursue higher education or take the Judicial and Civil Services Exam.
