Dr YSR National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management (NITHM Hyderabad) in Hyderabad is one of a number of State Government affiliated institutes of Hotel Management. NITHM Hyderabad has a very good reputation with most students being placed well after the completion of their studies. At the undergraduate level, NITHM Hyderabad offers 2 courses. These courses are B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration which is 3 years in duration and a BBA in Tourism and Hospitality, which is a 4 years in duration. Students who have completed their 10+2 school leaving examinations are eligible to apply for these courses. Admission to the BBA degree depends on other criteria as well.

National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management, Hyderabad admissions take place with any following aptitude entrance tests like the Under Graduate Aptitude Test (UGAT)/ Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-NCHMCT)/ AIMS Test for Management Admissions to Under Graduate (ATMAUG)/ EAMCET (Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test)/ Equivalent or Analytical Writing Test(AWT) conducted by NITHM to apply for this, candidates must apply online for it. While the admission criteria and eligibility, all students must have passed their 10+2 school-leaving test from a recognised board of secondary education with a minimum of 50% marks.
NITHM Hyderabad also offers two years MBA program in Tourism & Hospitality Management. Any graduate with a minimum of 50% marks is eligible to apply for an MBA course and selection will be based on the Management Aptitude Tests (MAT) score.
