The National Institute of Technology, Srinagar was established in 1960 and has now emerged as one of the leading institutions in the field of technology.
The NIT, Srinagar is an autonomous institute that has been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).
Students are taught by a group of renowned faculty members who provide proper knowledge and information. The admission procedure for UG students is conducted through JOSAA- Joint Seat Allocation Authority. Admission Procedure
The National Institute of Technology, Srinagar runs an admission procedure for the students (co-ed) in courses of Engineering (B.Tech) based on the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) via the JoSAA/CSAB portal. Candidates must go to the examination website's official webpage to receive the necessary information and apply. Following their participation, candidates must get the required qualifying marks to meet the NIT, Srinagar's cut-off in order to register for the appropriate course, which is followed by the candidates' final admission procedure with the admission fee payment.
The M.Tech, M.Phil, and PhD programmes are also available at NIT Srinagar. GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) scores are used to determine admission for M. Tech. students. For admission to a PhD or M.Phil programme, a master's degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 60% is needed. The departments' tests and interviews determine which applicants will be hired.
