National Institute of Technology, Delhi (NIT Delhi) is one of the most prominent institutes in the country known for providing quality education. The institute by the act of parliament has also been declared as an Institute of National Importance. NIT Delhi is an autonomous institute that is approved by both the University Grants Commission (UGC) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

At present NIT Delhi provides undergraduate courses in Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering. NIT Delhi grants final admissions to students clarifying their JEE Main exams through the JoSAA/CSAB and DASA.

Scholarships through the National Scholarship e-Portal are even granted to deserving candidates.

Top notch firms like Analog Devices, Avalara, Cadence, Cognizant, Code-Nation amongst many others are known to be taking part in the placement drive of the college. The Central Library of NIT Delhi is the biggest resource of books for students here. Books from different genres like science and technology, sports and yoga, novels and many others are available. Different subject-focused laboratories to cater to the demands of the subject are also a part of the campus. Well-equipped classrooms with Multimedia projectors, Electronic Notice Board Capable, IP Camera Surveillance, E-podium for Audio Video Recording fulfils the requirements of the modern education system.

Separate sports grounds, pitches and courts for recreation pleasure are even present within the campus. Boys and girls have access to fully furnished hostels with all basic amenities. Furthermore, bus shuttle services are also provided by the college to assist students commute down to the campus easily.

Admission Procedure

National Institute of Technology, Delhi runs an admission procedure for the students (co-ed) in courses of Engineering (B.Tech) based on the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) via the JoSAA/CSAB portal. Candidates must go to the examination website's official webpage to receive the necessary information and apply. Following their participation, candidates must get the required qualifying marks to meet the NIT Delhi's cut-off in order to register for the appropriate course, which is followed by the candidates' final admission procedure with the admission fee payment.

NIT Delhi also offers M.Tech and PhD courses. Candidates for the PhD programme must have a Master's degree from an accredited institution in order to be admitted to the programme.
