Indian Institute of Management, Mumbai (IIM Mumbai) was established in 1963 by the Government of India.IIM Mumbai offers two major Programmes– a research-based Fellow and Post Graduate Diplomas. It offers a range of postgraduate diploma courses and programs in industrial engineering, sustainability management, and general management specifically tailored for defence officers. IIM Mumbai confers the Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Engineering (PGDIE) program that provides the opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of industrial engineering. It also offers a Post Graduate Diploma in Sustainability Management (PGDSM) program. These programs provide the tools and resources that are needed to become a leader in sustainability and are focused on areas such as environmental protection, water, energy, and waste management. Admission Procedure

Indian Institute of Management, Mumbai conducts a holistic admission process. The students interested in seeking admission at IIM Mumbai can apply through the official website of the institute. The selection of the applicants for the postgraduate degree like MBA is made on the basis of marks obtained in their bachelor's degree or any equivalent exam from a recognized university along with marks obtained in the CAT (Common Admission Test).

For the Ph.D course, the applicants are selected according to the marks obtained in the postgraduate degree with relevant subject discipline from a recognized university.
