Full Freeship and Half Freeship schemes are also available for needy students. Students are assisted by a well-experienced Training and Placement Cell. Placement drives at the institute observe the highest package of 10 LPA and an average of 3.75 LPA. Admission Procedure

Narula Institute of Technology, Kolkata offers a four-year B.Tech programme with 10 specialisations. The scores acquired by a candidate in the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations (WBJEE)/ Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main)/ Common Entrance Exam (CEE AMPAI) are used to determine admission to the programme. After passing the counselling programme and paying the preliminary admission costs, candidates will be given admission slots to the B.Tech programme. It also offers a three-year engineering diploma in a variety of specialisations via normal mode. Candidates for admission to the Diploma programme must have received a minimum of 35 per cent in their 10+2 exams and are chosen based on their JEXPO scores and previous academic records.

NIT Kolkata also offers 2 years M.Tech program and an MCA program. A candidate for admission to the postgraduate programme must have earned at least 50% on the qualifying Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) examination and possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Scholarships

Narula Institute of Technology, Kolkata has the ability to provide scholarship schemes from non-government organizations to the students enrolled in graduate and postgraduate degrees. Students apply for the scholarship schemes, which are thoroughly assessed by NIT's governing board and approvals are given accordingly. NIT has agreed to give Full Freeship and Half Freeship to students from low-income families. To be eligible for this scholarship, students must submit appropriate documentation relating to family income, which will be thoroughly confirmed before the free ship is granted. Students who are receiving a scholarship or assistantship from another external funding agency or through the TFW system are not eligible for this scholarship. Sibling Scholarship Scheme: For B.Tech, M.Tech, and MCA programs, immediate siblings of current and former students will receive a scholarship worth 20% of the tuition cost.
