M.R. College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research, Kolkata (MRCPSR Kolkata) is a premier institute of pharmaceutical education in the city. Established in 2019, MRCPSR Kolkata is approved by both the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). MRCPSR Kolkata is affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT) for the Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree course, and to West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education & Skill Development (WBSCTVE&SD) for the diploma course (D.Pharm).

Admission Procedure
M.R. College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research, Kolkata follows an online mode of admission. Students need to pass their 10+2 level examinations from a science stream to be eligible for the B.Pharm and D.Pharm courses offered by MRCPSR Kolkata. For admissions to the B.Pharm course, students qualifying for the West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam (WBJEE) or Joint Entrance Exam (JEE-Main) can apply during the counselling process, while for the D.Pharm course, students need to qualify the Pharmacy Entrance Test (PET) conducted by WBSCTVE&SD.
