Midnapore Law College, Midnapore (MLC, Midnapore) is an illustrated, progressed incarnation of Midnapore Zila School that was founded in 1892 when law courses were introduced to the institution. Under the affiliation of The Vidyasagar University, it teaches a three-year LL.B. and a five-year B. A. LL.B. Honours courses approved by the Bar Council of India.
The admission procedure of MLC, Midnapore follows an online method in order to enlist the students, and the selection procedure is conducted as per the guidelines of Vidyasagar University. The faculties including the departmental heads are sincere and dedicated to their duty of imparting quality education and knowledge.

Admission Procedure
Midnapore Law College, Midnapore follows an online method of admission. Admissions to MLC, Midnapore is mainly based on the merit and eligibility criteria of the applicants. MLC, Midnapore offers B.A LL.B, and LL.B courses. Applicants applying for B.A LL.B course must have passed (10+2) or any equivalent examination with 45 % of marks in aggregate. Applicants applying for LL.B course, must have passed (10+2+3) or any equivalent examination with 45% marks in aggregate. Applicants are required to appear in the Entrance Test to be conducted by MLC, Midnapore. Selected candidates will be called in for counselling by the college faculty members.
