Admission Procedure
The admission process at Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology Kolkata is done online. The students are required to have pass marks in their higher secondary examinations from a recognized board. The B.Tech courses require either the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE)/ the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) qualification. The admissions are based on merits. MSIT is a co-ed institution.
MSIT Kolkata also offers a postgraduate courses in M.Tech, MBA and MCA. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) scores are used to determine merit-based admission to the M.Tech programme. The Common Admission Test (CAT)/ Management Admission Test (MAT) or Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test (JEMAT) scores will be used to determine admission to an MBA programme. Candidates must be graduates of an accredited university in a relevant field to be eligible for the MBA and MCA programmes.
