Maryland Institute of Technology and Management (MITM), Jamshedpur was established in 2011 on a scenic campus along National Highway 33. MITM, Jamshedpur was set up by Raj Narayan Memorial Trust with the aim of training globally competitive and employable engineers. MITM, Jamshedpur is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is affiliated to Kolhan University, Jharkhand.

Students can pursue 5 undergraduate (UG) courses at MITM, Jamshedpur. The UG courses are for the degree of Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Electronics and Communication Engineering. Regular classes are conducted by highly qualified faculty who work tirelessly to make the students industry ready. The students who wish to take admission need to qualify 10+2 level examination and secure a valid rank in JEE Main or any state-level Engineering Entrance Examination in order to be eligible for any of the aforementioned courses.

MITM, Jamshedpur provides all the necessary infrastructure to ensure the holistic development of the students. The Library at MITM, Jamshedpur has a collection of more than 10000 printed volumes on technical and related subjects, along with 45 national and international journals. The fully computerised Library has a high-speed internet facility and allows members access to various online and digital resources such as ebooks and e-journals. Students at MITM, Jamshedpur are provided separate hostel accommodations for boys and girls. The Boys' Hostel is present within the campus, while the Girls' hostel is located in the city of Jamshedpur. Both the hostels have their own mess facilities, water purifier, playground and 24-hour electric supply. MITM, Jamshedpur encourages an active lifestyle for the students and has provisions for multiple sporting activities within the Campus as well. The spacious classrooms at MITM, Jamshedpur are equipped with overhead LCD projectors and smartboards, with a seating capacity of 60 students. The Drawing Hall on the other hand can accommodate 100.

MITM, Jamshedpur has several specialised course-specific laboratories and cutting-edge workshops, such as Foundry Workshop, Carpentry Workshop, Welding Workshop, Sheet Metal Workshop, etc., for the students to garner practical knowledge and skills. MITM, Jamshedpur has a fully Wi-Fi-equipped Campus, and a Medical Unit staffed by doctors. MITM, Jamshedpur also has a round-the-clock ambulance facility and tie-ups with nearby hospitals in cases of emergency. MITM, Jamshedpur also provides transportation from From Jamshedpur, Ghatshila and Galudih to the Campus, for the students and staff to avail.
