Manipal School of Architecture and Planning, Manipal (MSAP Manipal), established in 1978, is a leading school in the field of architecture and design. Initially, MSAP Manipal offered an undergraduate architecture degree under Mysore University. In 2010, MSAP Manipal became a constituent of the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (Deemed to be University). MSAP Manipal is recognised by the Council of Architecture (COA) and offers undergraduate courses for Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) and Bachelor of Design (BDes) degrees, and postgraduate courses for Master of Arts (MA), Master of Design (MDes) and Master of Architecture (MArch) degrees. Admissions to the various programmes at MSAP Manipal are conducted online.

Admission Procedure

Manipal School of Architecture and planning, Manipal conducts its admission procedure according to the guidelines of the Manipal Academy of Higher Education. The students interested in seeking admission at the esteemed institute can apply through the institute's official website. The selection of the applicants for the undergraduate degree course in Architecture is made according the merits secured by the applicants in their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised board in the science discipline subject along with merits secured by the applicants in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) examination. The admission for the postgraduate degree course in design is made according to the merits secured by the students in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) examination.
