Malla Reddy Engineering College, Hyderabad (MREC Hyderabad), was established in 2002 and is a constituent of Malla Reddy Group of Institutions. Recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), MREC Hyderabad is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad.
Students can pursue 12 undergraduate (UG) and 6 postgraduate (PG) courses at MREC Hyderabad. The UG courses offer the degree of Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in different specialisations, while the PG courses offer Master of Technology (M.Tech) and Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Admission Procedure
MREC, Hyderabad offer, B.TECH, M.TECH, MBA courses. For undergraduate admission eligibility requires minimum qualification for admission to the B.Tech. is for those who have qualified for the intermediate (10 + 2) with 50% including Math, Physics and Chemistry as their main streams. This is based on the merit in AIEEE, JEE, or TSEAMCET after the intermediate or state-level common entrance test (ECET, or Engineering Common Entrance Test). And for Post Graduate admission shall be made on the basis of the merit rank obtained by the qualifying candidate on the basis of a valid GATE score or at a state-level entrance test (TSPGECET), the candidate having successfully graduated from an accredited university.
