Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), located in Jaipur, was established in 1963 by the Government of India and the Government of Rajasthan with the aim of providing technical education at global standards. The National Board of Accreditation (NBA) has accredited the institute as well.

Students are taught by a group of renowned faculty members who provide proper knowledge and information. The esteemed institute of MNIT Jaipur offers undergraduate courses such as B. Arch., B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, B.Tech in Chemistry, B.Tech in Civil Engineering, B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering, B.Tech in Information Technology, B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering, B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering, B.Tech in Humanities and Social Sciences, B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, B.Tech in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering and B.Tech in Physics.

The admission procedure for the UG/PG national students are conducted through JOSAA- Joint Seat Allocation Authority and for international students through DASA- Direct admission of students abroad based on SAT Score. Various scholarship schemes like the Central Sector Scholarship of Top Class Education for SC students, National Fellowship and Scholarship for Higher Education of ST students, Merit-cum-Means Scholarship for Students Belonging to Minority Communities, Post-matric Scholarship for Students with Disabilities, Scholarships for Top Class Education for students with disabilities are provided to students of MNIT Jaipur.

The placement cell connects students with internship opportunities in the industry. Students can get help with placements and higher education opportunities. Nearly 200 companies visit the MNIT Jaipur campus for interviews, and the Office engages with many companies/industries across the country. Core Engineering Industries, IT & IT-enabled services, Manufacturing, Consultancy Firms, Investment & Finance Companies, Management Organizations, and R & D laboratories are among the organizations that take part in placement drives conducted by the institute. Placement drives at the MNIT Jaipur observe the highest package of 43 LPA and an average package of 10 LPA.

An air-conditioned central library reintroduced with the name of Learning Resource Centre (LRC) of a plinth area of about 15,847 sq. Computer labs consisting of 565 PCs including 120 Graphics Workstations, a Primary Care Dispensary, a well equipped gym, outdoor sports complex, and on-campus boarding and lodging with the capacity of 3333 Boys and 1058 Girls, are among the major facilities that the MNIT Jaipur provides.

Besides, the MNIT Jaipur offers other facilities like bank branches of ICICI and State Bank on the campus with a post office and a shopping complex comprising a cycle shop, photocopy and printing center, milk parlor, stationery shop, and fruits & vegetable shop.

Admission Procedure

The Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur runs an admission procedure for the students (co-ed) in courses of Engineering, Architecture and Planning based on the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) via the JoSAA/CSAB portal. Candidates must go to the examination website's official webpage to receive the necessary information and apply. Following their participation, candidates must get the required qualifying marks to meet the MNIT Jaipur's cut-off in order to register for the appropriate course, which is followed by the candidates' final admission procedure with the admission fee payment.

MNIT Jaipur offers M.Tech, M.plan, M.Sc, MBA, and PhD. A merit list compiled by the appropriate departments will be used to determine admission to various PG programmes leading to M.Tech./M. plan degrees. The Institute's website will make the merit list available. Candidate must pass any one of the following exams to be eligible for the MBA programme: Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT), Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT), Management Aptitude Test (MAT), and Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT).
