Malankara Catholic College, Kanniyakumari (MCC, Kanniyakumari) is owned and run by the Diocese of Marthandam, with approval from the Tamil Nadu government, and is affiliated with Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Thirunelveli. The Educational Vision of the Most Rev. Lawrence Mar Ephraem, the first Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Marthandam, inspired the establishment of the College. The college was founded on July 20, 1998, with the motto "LEARN TO SERVE". aspires to maintain excellence in Value-Based Education and Research for Human Resource Development, as well as to transform society, by disseminating quality education in an innovative learning environment. Under the affiliation of Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli MCC, Knniyakumari offers numerous undergraduate, and postgraduate courses across the disciplines of science, arts, commerce, media, and mass communication and Engineering.
