Maitreyi College, New Delhi (MC New Delhi), is a government women’s college affiliated with the University of Delhi. MC New Delhi is a University Grants Commission (UGC)-approved institution which was instituted in July 1967 and named in honour of Maitreyi, the respected Vedic sage. Maitreyi College, New Delhi is sited on a sprawling 10-acre campus in the south campus of Delhi University and offers amenities such as spacious classrooms, seminar halls, an auditorium, a well-stocked library, well-equipped subject-specific laboratories, sports facilities, a canteen, and a medical room.
Maitreyi College, New Delhi, offers three-year-long undergraduate courses including B.A, B.Com, B.Sc, and Bachelor with Honours and two-year-long postgraduate courses including M.A and M.Sc across arts, science, and commerce departments.

Aspiring UG applicants to MC New Delhi in B.A must have passed Higher Secondary Examination from any stream and aspiring UG applicants with B.Com and B.Sc to MC New Delhi must have passed Higher Secondary Examination with respective commerce and science subjects according to the concerned department.
