The University of Calcutta granted affiliation to MC Kolkata for a three-year program and a pre-university arts course.

The campus building is divided into three wings, one of which is two stories tall and the other three stories tall. These wings contain 25 classrooms, including two digital classrooms, five laboratories, the college office, and a third structure that houses the students' canteen and bike stand, the boys' common room, the students' union, and the central library of the college. All three structures are connected and easily accessible. MC Kolkata is a green haven in the middle of an industrial area, and its lush vegetation both makes it more aesthetically pleasing and successfully minimizes pollutants.
