Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak (MDU, Rohtak) is indeed praiseworthy with respect to its infrastructural amenities that it extends for the betterment of students paramount. The entire campus of MDU, Rohtak is Wi-Fi enabled to ensure uninterrupted internet services. The classrooms at MDU, Rohtak are wide, spacious, well ventilated to ensure a comfortable environment for learning. There are also digital classrooms with smart technology services and video conferencing facilities.
The college owns a well-equipped library with a rich collection of textbooks, reference books, journals, periodicals, and other academic resources. The digital hub of the library has access to a large number of e-books, e-journals, and online databases along with access to various e-resources across the multiple branches of management. As laboratories are necessary for the studies, numerous course-specific labs are there equipped with modernized machinery, equipment, and apparatus intended for the students' better understanding of the subject matter through minute observation and practical application.
Housing facilities with separate dorms for boys and girls have also been provided who reside far away from the university or who need it. Each of the boys' and girls' hostels has a capacity of 2500 students. To quench the thirst for fitness the students are provided with a multipurpose gymnasium hall equipped with modernized tools and pieces of machinery. The gymnasium is facilitated with air conditioning services. The college houses a canteen serving good hygienic food at affordable prices. The campus consists of an aesthetic auditorium that is well-suited for hosting cultural events and conclaves etc. A well-designed seminar hall or a conference hall equipped with top-notch A/V facilities has also been provided.
MDU, Rohtak is remarkable with respect to its sports infrastructure. International standard Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Cricket Stadium is offered by the university to utilize on purpose. Apart from this a sprawling sports complex has been provided consisting of a number of courts allotted for specific games. National standard athletic track, lawn tennis courts, boxing hall, basketball courts, kabaddi hall, squash court, judo hall, and wrestling hall are there followed by the Astroturf Hockey Ground. Games like Football, Tennis, and Volleyball are played in that sports complex. There is also a provision for swimming. The college houses a swimming pool that is clean and well-maintained. Medical facilities are extended in any kind of emergency.
