Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU), located in Mumbai, was established in 2014 to provide students and academic researchers a sense of responsibility to serve society in the legal field by providing advocacy training, and judicial and other legal services. Students are taught by highly qualified, experienced, and capable teaching staff with experience teaching at National Law Universities and other prestigious law schools across the country. MNLU Mumbai is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Bar Council of India (BCI).
Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai offers undergraduate courses of B.A.LL.B (Hons) with a duration of 5 years. Students who are seeking admission must qualify for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) and the selection will be made on the academic merit of the CLAT and 12th-grade exam. Students are assisted with scholarship schemes from governments, NGOs, and philanthropic organizations. The government scholarships are provided by the Government of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. Admission Procedure
Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai accepts students for undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate degrees. At the undergraduate level, the program offered is B.A. LL.B Hons which is for five years. Candidates are admitted to this program based on their 12th grades and Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) scores.
MNLU Mumbai also offers LLM, MBA, PHD and postgraduate diploma courses. Candidate must qualify for a Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) to get admitted to the LLM course. For the MBA course candidate should have a bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. Admission to the PhD programme requires both a master's degree in law with at least a 55% grade point average and UGC-NET in law qualification.
