Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU), located in Aurangabad, was established in 2017 with a view to advancing and disseminating knowledge of legal education. The Maharashtra National Law University offers B.A LL.B (Hons) undergraduate course with a duration of 5 years. The admission process is based on merit. To take admission to the MNLU Aurangabad, candidates must appear for Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). By determining 12th grades and Common Law Admission Test scores (CLAT), candidates get admitted. Students are provided with government-aided scholarships and Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulkh Shishyavrutti Scheme scholarships. The Internship Cell and Placement Committee operates internship programs at the university. Students can receive training and internships through the cell and get opportunities to work with top national and international law firms, corporate institutions, reputable NGOs, public sector enterprises, high-level litigants, and higher judiciary. Besides the academic development, MNLU Aurangabad offers a great range of facilities to students such as a digital library equipped with several resources like Manupatra, Westlaw, SCC Online, JSTOR and others, as air-conditioned classrooms with modern equipment. Admission Procedure
Maharashtra National Law University, Aurangabad accepts students for undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate degrees. At the undergraduate level, the program offered is B.A LL.B Hons which is for five years. Candidates are admitted to this program based on their 12th grades and Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) scores.
MNLU Aurangabad also offers LLM and PhD courses. Candidates with a Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) qualified are eligible for the LLM course. For PhD courses, Candidates must have a postgraduate degree from a recognized university.

The Internship Cell and Placement Committee of MNLU Aurangabad, provide a favourable environment in which students can be trained to become qualified and capable legal professionals. The Cell's efforts are evident in the fact that MNLU Aurangabad has made the "Internship" a requirement for students pursuing a B.A LL.B (Hons) degree. Many workshops and trainings have been held to help students discover their strengths and weaknesses in preparation for future employment.
