Maharaja Ranjit Singh State Technical University, Bathinda (MRSSTU, Bhatinda) is indeed praiseworthy with respect to its infrastructural amenities that it extends for the betterment of students paramount. The classrooms at MRSSTU, Bhatinda are wide, spacious, well ventilated to ensure a comfortable environment for learning. There are also digital classrooms with smart technology services and video conferencing facilities. Apart from classrooms, there are also individual lecture rooms, tutorial rooms, and drawing halls.
The central library of Maharaja Ranjit Singh State Technical University, Bathinda has a collection of more than 12000 titles, 54000 reference volumes of books, and books on engineering and related topics. There are 86 national and two foreign journals, as well as 660 eBooks. The digital hub of the library stocks encyclopedias, VCDs, BIS codes, textbooks, electronic resources, 65+ Technical Journals, and full-text online databases like IEEE and Elsevier. The library also has subscriptions to ASCE, ASME, Pearson e-Books, and direct. Since 2007, the library has functions in collaboration with DELNET.
As laboratories are necessary for the studies, numerous course-specific labs are equipped with modernized machinery, equipment, and apparatus are there that are intended for the students' better understanding of the subject matter through minute observation and practical application. Housing facilities with separate dorms for boys and girls have also been provided who reside far away from the university or who need it. There are a total of seven hostel blocks among which 5 are allotted for boys and the rest of the two are for girls.
Sports facilities are also available in MRSSTU, Bhatinda to serve the quest for games and other physical activities. A multipurpose playfield has been provided to let the students take part in various indoor and outdoor sports. There are provisions for football, cricket, basketball, volleyball, hockey, archery and tennis courts, and table tennis followed by a 400 m long racing track. To quench the thirst for fitness the students are provided with a multipurpose gymnasium equipped with modernized tools and pieces of machinery.
There is a cafeteria or canteen that supplies snacks, meals, and beverages throughout the day on demand. To extend medical support there is a 24x7 dispensary with six beds and the medical treatments are done under proficient medical professionals. To assist with shuttle service there are two buses with 52 seats in each of them. The campus consists of an aesthetic auditorium that is well-suited for hosting cultural events and conclaves etc. An amphitheater is also there to host drama and plays. A well-designed seminar hall or a conference hall equipped with top-notch A/V facilities has also been provided. There is an ATM housed inside the campus of MRSSTU, Bhatinda to assist in financial transactions.
