Maharaja Krishna Chandra Gajapati Medical College and Hospital (MKCGMCH), Berhampur is one of the famous medical colleges that was founded by the Government of Odisha in 1962 and runs under the aegis of the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of Odisha.

MKCGMCH, Berhampur is missioned towards imparting medical and para-medical education, raising excellent healthcare professionals to render tertiary health care to the people of south-western Odisha, and vision with a demand of freedom from sickness for all.

Affiliated with the University of Behrampur, MKCGMCH, Berhampur offers MBBS, MS, and MD courses and follows an online method of admission based on the score card of NEET for MBBS and based on the marks obtained in 10+2 or equivalent for MS and MD courses. The faculties are highly skilled and experienced in their own specialized fields of medical sciences.

Admission Procedure

Maharaja Krishna Chandra Gajapati Medical College and Hospital, Berhampur follows an online admission method. Admissions to MKCGMCH, Berhampur are mainly based on the merit and eligibility criteria of the applicants. MKCGMCH, Berhampur offers MBBS, Doctor of Medicine (DM), Master of Surgery (MS) in PG courses and Diploma Courses. Applicants applying for MBBS Degree need to sit for the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) and should have passed (10+2) or any equivalent examination from any recognised board in Science Stream (PCMB) with 50% aggregate marks.
