Maharaja Agrasen College (MAC), Delhi is a government college affiliated with the University of Delhi (DU). MAC, Delhi is a University Grants Commission (UGC)-approved college and was instituted in 1994 as the “Co-Educational College”- a constituent college of Delhi University- later renamed Maharaja Agrasen College after the legendary Indian ruler of Agroha, Maharaja Agrasen.
MAC, Delhi is situated on a sprawling 10-acre campus at Vasundhara Enclave, Dehli. The MAC, Delhi campus houses infrastructural facilities such as spacious classrooms, a well-stocked library, well-equipped integrated laboratories, a spacious auditorium, seminar halls, sports facilities, a canteen, and hostel accommodation.
MAC, Delhi offers various undergraduate courses under the faculty of Science, Arts, and Commerce. MAC, Delhi follows an online method of admission. Candidates applying for admission to MAC, Delhi are selected based on their academic merit and fulfilment of the eligibility criteria of passing their 10+2 examinations from any recognized board in the relevant stream. Shortlisted candidates are invited for an interview before their final selection.

The T&P committee hosts interactive sessions for students like seminars, workshops, and training sessions to assist students in acquiring corporate knowledge and methods. Some of the major recruiting organizations frequently visiting MAC, Delhi include Go Air, Zee, Prime Focus, Yatra, Oyo, Vistara, Vibgyor, Genre 8, DEN, and Travel Triangle. Student clubs and societies active at MAC, Delhi include the music society “Septune”, the marketing society “Markos”, the art and craft society “Srijan”, and the dance society “Nataraj” among several others. MAC, Delhi’s student council also organises a plethora of cultural and extra-curricular celebrations throughout the year such as workshops, competitions, celebrations for teacher’s day and independence day, fresher’s and farewell events, the Spic Macay festival, and MAC, Delhi’s annual cultural fest “Yuvaan”.

Admission Procedure
Maharaja Agrasen College, Delhi follows an online method of admission. Applicants are selected on the basis of their merit and eligbility criteria. MAC, Delhi offers undergraduate courses under the faculty of Arts, Science and Commerce. Aspiring B.A applicants to MAC, Delhi must have passed Higher Secondary Examination from any recognized board from any stream. Aspiring B.Com applicants to MAC, Delhi must have passed Higheer Secondary Examination with Commerce subjects and B.Sc applicants with Mathematics must have Maths as one of the major course. Selected applicants are called for an interview before their final selection.

The Maharaja Agrasen College, Delhi's Training and Placement Committee makes every effort to provide students with chances to thrive on a common platform. Providing pupils with employment prospects is TPC's main goal. Additionally, TPC aims to teach managerial skills, good communication skills, and all other basic manners that are quite important. The importance of honing students' talents before graduation increases because they would be entering a completely different competitive environment. TPC continues to host interactive sessions for students, such as seminars, workshops, and training sessions, in order to achieve the aforementioned objectives.
The placement cell has been putting a lot of effort into assisting students in acquiring corporate knowledge and methods. For internships, students were dispatched to reputable businesses in a range of industries, including banking, management, and the media. TPC has consistently served as a foundation for the pupils. It has given them internships so they may get some real-world experience in their desired industries. TPC has been diligently mapping out future strategies and enhancing the committee's organisational structure to better serve the needs of the students. In addition to bringing employers to college portals, TPC also helps students get ready to seize chances that might otherwise be exceedingly scarce. The students are encouraged to gain more knowledge from these chances and take advantage of greater opportunities in addition to receiving internships and job placements. Practice makes perfect, and TPC constantly encourages its members and students to improve and innovate during these training sessions in order to profit from the exposure. The Training and Placement Cell is working on organizing a few more workshops, which would be an enriching experience for the students. Some of the major nrecruiting organizations who frequently visit MAC, Delhi are Prime Focus, Vistara, Oyo, Yatra, Vibgyor, Genre 8, Go Air, Zee, DEN, Travel Triangle and other big companies.
