Admission Procedure

Madras School of Economics, Chennai offers three years of Undergraduate (B.A) and Postgraduate (M.A) degrees with various specializations. Interested candidates can apply through their official website. To apply for their degree candidate must have basic admission criteria. For their Undergraduate degree candidate must complete Higher secondary education 10+2 in any discipline with 65% marks. And the candidate must qualify for an entrance examination MSE Entrance Test. And for a Postgraduate Master of Arts degree candidates must be completed a bachelor's degree in Commerce / Economics/ Statistics/ Mathematics anyone as a mandatory subject with 55% marks from a recognized University. And the candidate must qualify for an entrance examination MSE ET conducted by the institute.

MSE Chennai also offers PGDM and PhD degrees with various specalization. To apply PGDM degree candidate must be qualified for an entrance examination CAT / CMAT/ XAT with valid marks. For a PhD degree, Candidate must have completed a master's degree in  Economics with 55% marks from UGC/AICTE/approved institutions including institutions of national and state importance. And the candidate must qualify for an entrance examination UGC-JRF /UGC-NET/ GATE/SET-Economics. Final admission is based on a merit basis.
