Ma Sarada College of Nursing, Kolkata (MSCN) is a private nursing college founded by the holistic organization Ramakrishna Mission Seva Pratishthan in the year 2005. MSCN is objected towards a selfless mission of imparting value-based education in the field of nursing sciences following the path of loyalty, honesty, and a selfless motto of serving mankind irrespective of caste, creed, religion, or sex.
Affiliated to The West Bengal University of Health Sciences MSCN offers a B.Sc Nursing course and a PB B.Sc. or Post basic bachelor degree in nursing course. In the year 2009 Post Basic B.Sc Nursing course started with an intake capacity of 25 students per year. From faculties to infrastructures the college is promising in the quality of education imparted to the nursing aspirants. The admission procedure is conducted through the “JENPAUH” Examination and for Post. Basic B.Sc Nursing Course (2 years) admission is conducted through West Bengal under - Graduate Nursing Admission Tests (WBUGNAT).

Admission Procedure
Ma Sarada College of Nursing, Kolkata follows the online process of admission. MSCN mainly offers Undergraduate (UG) and Post Graduate (PG) courses under the faculty of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) Nursing and Post Basic Bachelor of Science (PB B.Sc) Nursing. UG applicants applying to MSCN need to sit for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) and accordingly admission occurs with the help of e-counselling and a seat is allotted according to the rank order of the applicant. Applicants also must have passed (10+2) or any equivalent examination with Biology as the main subject from the Science stream.
