Lok Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Wardha, founded Lok Mahavidyalaya, Wardha (LM Wardha) in 1987 to provide educational services to the people of Wardha and the surrounding rural area. In June 1987, it opened its doors with 155 and 100 students enrolled in the Arts and Commerce streams respectively. LM Wardha is affiliated with Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University and is listed in 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC. LM Wardha has become one of the leading educational institutions in Wardha.
LM Wardha offers B.A., BCom, MA, and MLib degrees. For UG courses admission at LM Wardha, candidates must pass HSC(10+2) from any board. And for PG admission, candidates must complete a bachelor's degree from any university.
The teachers at LM Wardha are highly talented, experienced, and deeply devoted. They are determined to guide, motivate and encourage the students to reach their ambitions. In fact, the widespread popularity of our institution is due to the exceptional faculty our school has. They strive to make the students a well-rounded individual by providing them with knowledge about not only their planned curriculum but also about life in general. Moreover, the faculty members are very strict and punctual.
LM Wardha has smart classrooms and ICT-enabled classrooms which provide the latest technology and resources for students to take advantage of. Additionally, Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus, making sure that students have the best internet access possible. LM Wardha also has a wide range of laboratories and computer labs, as well as an English language lab, providing students with the perfect environment to develop their skills. The library has a vast collection of books, over 20000, and 7 journals subscribed. Students can also access the INFLIBNET subscription. Additionally, there is a large ground of 9 acres at the back of the campus building, which can be used for sports and outdoor activities such as ball badminton, kabaddi, volleyball, kho-kho, baseball, softball, netball, etc. Chess and yoga facilities are also available. LM Wardha also has an auditorium and a seminar hall with an ICT facility, which can be used for various events and activities. LM Wardha also provides medical facilities and facilities for the disabled. In conclusion, LM Wardha is an excellent institute with state-of-the-art facilities and resources, providing students with the best learning experience possible.
