Lady Hardinge Medical College and Associated Hospitals (LHMCAH), located in New Delhi, was established in 1916 with the aim to provide knowledge and training for students including the state-of-art Medical Education. Lady Hardinge Medical College and Associated Hospitals is a co-ed institution that offers undergraduate courses such as a four-and-a-half-year MBBS degree and a four-year B.Sc Nursing degree. The admission process begins with registration while generating an ID followed by filling in the academic details, DOB according to the ID proof, and parents' names according to the 10+2 mark sheet and then the login credentials of students will be generated. Most importantly, the admission procedure is based on matching the cutoff criteria of the entrance exam. Scholarships are offered to needy students with a family income of less than 5 lakhs per year in a merit-based system. Students are offered internships for a period of 12 months following the completion of the final examination by LHMCAH, New Delhi. Apart from this, candidates get opportunities to spending two months doing fieldwork in rural health centers during the period of the 12-month internship. A well-equipped central library with a large variety of books and journals, 4 hostel accommodations, laboratories including a hematology lab with a 24 hrs emergency lab, a special hematology lab, a clinical pathology lab, a histopathology lab- newborn autopsy and frozen section, a cytopathology lab, immunology lab, well-maintained classrooms and medical facilities are among the major facilities offered by LHMCAH, New Delhi.

Admission Procedure

Lady Hardinge Medical College and Associated Hospitals, New Delhi conducts an admission procedure for the students that starts with registration while generating an ID. After this, the candidates are required to fill in the academic details, DOB according to the ID proof, and parents' names according to the 10+2 mark sheet will generate the login credentials of the students. Candidates are required to log in with the generated login credentials after which they will have to upload scanned documents in JPG/JPEG format followed by the online fee payment for the application. This process depends on matching the cutoff criteria of the entrance exam (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET).

LHMCAH New Delhi also offers postgraduate MD / MS / MDS and super speciality degree M.ch / D.M  degree programmes, Interested candidates can apply through their official website. For their postgraduate degree Candidate must qualify for an entrance examination National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Postgraduate) with a departmental examination conducted by Delhi University. To apply for their super speciality degree Candidate must qualify for an entrance examination National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. Final admission is based on merit basis.

Placements

Lady Hardinge Medical College and Associated Hospitals, New Delhi provides internships for a period of 12 months following the completion of the final examination.
