Shri Mathurdas Mathur, Bha’ji established Lachoo Memorial College Science and Technology, Jodhpur(LMCST Jodhpur) on 21 July 1965 with the aspiration of delivering quality education in the field of science. LMCST Jodhpur is the first College in Western Rajasthan to be granted Academic Autonomy by the UGC and Jai Narain Vyas University and has been commended for its high standards of excellence, and also it got approval from AICTE and PCI.
LMCST Jodhpur offers BCA, BBA, BSc, BPharm, BCom, DPharm, MSc, MCA, MBA, and Ph.D. degrees. LMCST Jodhpur follows an online admission procedure and the form can be obtained from the college's website.
LMCST Jodhpur has dedicated and trained faculty. The mission of the faculty is to provide young people with high-quality, values-based education using a synthesis of science and technology, and shape their character so that their ardent desire to contribute selflessly to society complements their earnest effort to achieve progress and prosperity in life.
LMCST Jodhpur has 25 well-furnished classrooms and 42 well-equipped spacious laboratories. LMCST Jodhpur also has a full-fledged Language Laboratory. All classrooms and laboratories are equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity so that students can access the internet for their studies and research. LMCST Jodhpur boasts a central library that is rich in all respects. It has over 41,701 books in all sections and subscribes to 42 national and international Journals, 27 Magazines, and Newsletters along with 12 Hindi-English newspapers. In addition, more than 6500 e-journals and 764300 e-books are accessible online with ten computers available in the library digital section through Inflibnet. LMCST Jodhpur also has an air-conditioned auditorium, two fully air-conditioned conference halls, and a spacious lush green playground with facilities for cricket, volleyball, and basketball. An indoor badminton court is also established in the college, while the Mathuradas Mathur Sports Academy on the campus provides necessary sports facilities such as carrom, chess, and table tennis. A gymnasium is also present in the college. In addition to the academic and sporting facilities, LMCST Jodhpur also provides other amenities such as a canteen, first aid facility, bank, and ATM. LMCST Jodhpur has all the necessary infrastructure to provide students with an exceptional learning experience. The Placement Cell of LMCST Jodhpur plays a key role in helping to shape the career of its students, by providing them with grooming and soft skills training to make them employable. To ensure the students have the best opportunity to be placed and have exposure, the department organizes campus interviews. Moreover, the Placement Cell is fully equipped to provide assistance to visiting companies throughout the placement process, such as setting up Pre-Placement Talks, Written Tests (online or offline), Interviews, and Group Discussions as required. The Cell also has a well-established network of contacts with esteemed organizations like Genpact, TCS, Safenet, Zensar, IBM, Dr. Reddy's Lab, etc.

Admission Procedure
Lachoo Memorial College Science and Technology, Jodhpur offers BCA, BBA, BSc, BPharm, BCom, DPharm, MSc, MCA, MBA and PhD degrees. LMCST Jodhpur follows an online admission procedure and the form can be obtained from the college's website.
For UG and diploma admission, candidates must pass HSC(10+2) from any board. And for PG admission, candidates must complete bachelor's degree from any university. For MCA and MBA admission, LMCST Jodhpur will conduct an entrance exam, Lachoo Common Entrance Test (LCET).
And for PhD admission, candidates must complete master's degree from any university.
Admissions shall be conducted strictly on the basis of merit. A Merit List shall be compiled using the marks achieved in the necessary qualifications, and shall be made available on the College Website. Candidates shall be invited to attend an online counselling session on the designated date in order to complete their admission process.
