KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore (KPRIET Coimbatore), was established in 2009 under the aegis of the KPR Charities Trust. Approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), KPRIET Coimbatore is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai.
Students can pursue 12 undergraduate (UG), 5 postgraduate (PG) and 10 doctorate (PhD) courses at KPRIET Coimbatore. The UG courses offer the degrees of Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) and Bachelor of Engineering (B.E); while the PG courses offer Master of Engineering (M.E) in different specialisations. Admission to KPRIET Coimbatore takes place online.

Admission Procedure
KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore offers B.Tech , B.E, M.E. and Ph.D. degrees. KPRIET Coimbatore follows online admission procedure. For UG admission at KPRIET Coimbatore, candidates must pass Pass in 10+2 with minimum average marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics put together as 45%. For PG admission, candidates must have Mmn 50% in B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Arch. Degree Programmes (or) B.Pharm. Degree Programmes (or) Master’s Degree in the relevant branch of Science / Arts, which are prescribed.
