K.P.B. Hinduja College of Commerce, Mumbai (KPBHCC Mumbai), was established in 1974, as a venture of the Hinduja Group. Committed to preparing students for a future in business/commerce, KPBHCC Mumbai aims to prepare them for positions of responsibility in commerce, banking, insurance, and industry. To accomplish this objective, academic excellence in conjunction with industry-oriented skill enhancement courses is encouraged.

Students can pursue 10 undergraduate (UG), 8 postgraduate (PG) and 7 doctorate (PhD) courses at KPBHCC Mumbai. The UG courses offered are B.A in Multimedia and Mass Communication; Bachelor of Computer Application; B.Com in general and with specialisations in Accounting and Finance, Banking and Insurance, Financial Market, Investment Management, and Transport Management; Bachelor in Management Studies; and B.Sc in Information Technology. The PG courses that can be opted for are M.A in Communication and Journalism, Public Relations, Business Economics, and Rural Development; and M.Com in Advanced Accountancy, Banking and Finance, Business Studies, and E-Commerce. PhD can be pursued at KPBHCC Mumbai in the following disciplines Trade, Transport and Industry; Business Policy and Administration; Business Economics; Accountancy; Management Studies; Business Management; and Banking and Finance. Admission Procedure

K.P.B. Hinduja College of Commerce, Mumbai offers a variety of UG, PG and PhD courses. Candidates for the undergraduate programme in KPBHCC must pass 10+2 examination from Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent with not less than 45% marks in aggregate on the first attempt. Every candidate, after admission, shall have to register himself/herself with the University of Mumbai. Candidates seeking admission other than Maharashtra board and colleges affiliated other than University of Mumbai must produce a Transfer Certificate from the board/college last attended.

Scholarships

Only students with exemplary behaviour are elegible for scholarships and freeships at K.P.B. Hinduja College of Commerce, Mumbai. Only in the month of June students must submit the form for Government of India Scholarships through the college administration.The application form must be picked up at the college office at the appropriate time, and it must be submitted before or on the deadline. The Hinduja Foundation offers scholarships to the students who excel in their studies, athletics, and extracurricular pursuits. The scholarship has a one-year term, but it may be extended if the students maintain their academic achievement in the succeeding year as well. The qualified students can also apply for other three freeships and four additional scholarships.
