On the 20th November 2006, KIIT School of Rural Management, Bhubaneswar(KIITSRM Bhubaneswar), a part of KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, was founded with the laying of the foundation stone by Dr. Verghese Kurien, known as the Father of the White Revolution, and Dr. A. Samanta, the Founder of KISS and KIIT Group of institutions. Over the past 15 years, KIITSRM Bhubaneswar has established itself as one of the premier schools in India for rural management, with a notable presence in teaching, research, and consulting.
KIITSRM Bhubaneswar offers only an MBA degree. For admission at KIITSRM Bhubaneswar, candidates must be graduates and must score high in KIIT Entrance Examination (KIITEE).
