KIIT School of Management, Bhubaneswar (KSOM), was first established in 1993 with the name Institute of Business Administration and Training (IBAT), before becoming a part of the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, Bhubaneswar (KIIT). KSOM's vision is to be a trailblazing cradle for business education, where young minds are given the right balance of classroom learning and practical exposure to become high achievers and inspiring leaders.

Students can pursue 1 undergraduate (UG), and 5 postgraduate (PG) courses at KSOM. The UG course is BBA, and the PG courses are MBA without specialisation or with specialisations in Business Analytics, Healthcare Management, Construction Management, and Supply Chain Management. The courses at KSOM are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

The faculty members at KIIT School of Management, Bhubaneswar come from all over the country and are experts in their respective fields of research and education. The faculty is dedicated to offering an integrated, individualised, and student-centred approach to higher levels of education, support, and outreach. Candidates who wish to take admission to the KSOM must qualify the 10+2 Level Examination and UGAT to be eligible for the UG course, and CAT / XAT / CMAT for the PG courses.

The Training and Placement Cell of KLSB actively executes the functions of training, counselling, advising, and assisting the internship and recruitment processes for students.

KSOM provides the best available infrastructural support to ensure the holistic development of the students. The Library at KSOM has a large collection of books, journals, magazines and newspapers for the scholars to avail themselves. Students at KSOM are accommodated in separate hostels for boys and girls, each equipped with all basic amenities. Promoting an active lifestyle for the pupils, KSOM has provisions for various sports and games such as football, tennis, volleyball, table tennis, snooker, and badminton. Additionally, the KSOM Campus has a fully equipped indoor gymnasium, a swimming pool, and a recreation room. Regular classes at KSOM are conducted in air-conditioned classrooms equipped with multimedia devices. A cutting-edge computer laboratory is present to be utilised by the students. The fully Wi-Fi-enabled Campus of KSOM also has a 500-seater auditorium, an amphitheatre, and emergency medical facilities for the students and staff of the College.

Admission Procedure

KIIT School of Management, Bhubaneswar provides an online admission procedure for students (co-ed) in both undergraduate and postgraduate courses such as BBA and MBA with different specialties. The applying candidates should be 10+2 pass after which they must clear Under Graduate Aptitude Test (UGAT) for applying in BBA and Common Admission Test(CAT) or Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) or Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) or Management Aptitude Test (MAT) KIIT Entrance Exam (KIITEE) for applying in pure MBA or MBA with any specializations.
