KITS Warangal offers UG, PG and Doctorate courses under the branches of B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, and PhD. Candidates seeking admission into undergraduate B.Tech programmes must pass 10+2 with science from a recognised board and attain the qualifying marks in either Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS ECET) or Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture & Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET). Candidates seeking admission into M.Tech programmes must complete their B.Tech and attain the qualifying marks in Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS PGECET) or Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). For MBA, candidates are selected based on marks/grades attained in Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TS ICET).

Admission Procedure
Eligibility criteria of Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science, Warangal for each program is on the admissions page of the specific program. Admisssion to the any program at Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science, Warangal is strictly based on the guidelines of the Kakatiya University. Students can take admission through the online admission process from the college website. The selection of the applicants for the undergraduate degree in technology is made according to the merits secured by the students in their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised board with PCM or PCB along with the merits secured by the applicants in the Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture & Medical Common Entrance Test (TS-EAMCET). For the selection of the applicants for the postgraduate degree courses the selection of the students are made according to the merits secured by the students in the undergraduate course in technology from a recogniused university. For the doctoral degree course the applicants are selected according to the meritrsa secured by the applicants in the postgraduate course in technology from a recognised university.
