The K L (Deemed to be University) offers a variety of infrastructure, including a central library with seating for 1500 people and a sizeable collection of papers with a total of about 1,90,000 volumes and 32,000 non-book materials including well-known databases covering Agricultural Engineering, Pharmacy, Architecture Law, and specialist publications and magazines as well as resources relevant to Engineering, Science and Humanities courses.
The students are housed in several hostels three of which offer separate quarters for female students. On the campus are the hostels for girls. There are other rooms with air conditioning and adjoining toilets that may be occupied by one, two, or three people each. Deluxe rooms with contemporary furnishings and a separate study room are also available. There are four hostels available for boys. There are additional rooms with air conditioning and the ability to hold two, three, or four people each.
The KLU Guntur's sports complex has a number of sports amenities including two gyms and outdoor facilities for badminton, kabaddi, cricket and football as well as indoor game areas for chess, carrom and other games, all with full power backups so that students can enjoy their leisure time.
The students have access to a high-tech wi-fi enabled campus with a high-speed fibre optic backbone that provides 10 Gbps ILL + 1 Gbps NKN Internet Connectivity around-the-clock for proper e-learning accessibility as well as classrooms with roomy, spotless, air-conditioned spaces for the students to learn and enhance the educational process with comfort and ease.
An open-air auditorium with seating for 4500 people is used for a variety of cultural events throughout the year. Along with CISCO, IBM, Microsoft, and Oracle labs for computer science and engineering students and NI Lab View for students of Electronics Communication Engineering, the students are given access to 74 academic labs, 25 research labs and 6 industry partnership labs.
Other amenities include a huge canteen with 1500 square metres of space, contemporary equipment and a clean environment that serves high-quality food and offers prompt service to both students and employees as well as some micro cafes and fast food outlets that are open in KLU Guntur campus blocks from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and offer a wide variety of North and South Indian cuisine to pick from so that students may enjoy their break periods with good food.
Additionally, the students have access to a fully functional health clinic with three doctors who represent the teams of homeopathy, Ayurveda and allopathy. This facility meets all the needs of the students, faculty and staff as well as the general people in the adopted towns. An ambulance is always available in case of an emergency. They have a multi-specialty hospital that is MOU recognised. They also have an unique counselling cell with senior academics, psychologists, and professional student counsellors to assist students in pursuing the right education and direction.
Moreover, a transportation facility with 84 non-air-conditioned buses and 2 air-conditioned buses are available that can seat 4400 students.
