K J Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce (KJSCAC), located in Mumbai, was established in the year 1959.

The undergraduate courses offered by the KJSCAC Mumbai are Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Arts in History, Economics, Political Science and Psychology. The total area of the library is about 10732 sq. ft with 418 chairs and 80 tables. The library consists of 87000+ books, 63890+ titles, 1684+ CDs and DVDs, 758+ e-books, 124+ journals, and 18+ newspapers along with spacious classrooms.
Beside this, there’s a good and well-maintained canteen with proper and hygienic food, 3 hostel campuses as Sandipani boys hostel of about 1,53,000 sq. ft with 11 floors accommodating 683 boys with 2 and 3 people sharing basis. Second campus as Maitreyi Girls hostel of about 94,000 sq. ft with 5 floors accommodating 373 girls with 2 and 3 people sharing basis and third as the Polytechnic hostel for both boys and girls of about 47637.37 Sq.ft with 6 floors and sports academy for the students to enroll themselves in an authorised aspect with the physical activities like football, badminton, cricket, etc.

Admission Procedure
The K J Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce conducts simple steps for the admission procedure of BA and B.Com courses with specializations like History, Economics, Political Science, and Psychology by filling up pre-admission forms with a fee, followed by checking the merit list as a selection purpose for the candidates. Selected candidates will have to bring blank admission forms along with other necessary documents for verification by the non-teaching staff, fill-up the form, generate an ID number, and finally pay the admission fees.
K J Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce also offers Post-Graduate M.A / M.Com degrees with P.hD various disciplines. Interested candidates can apply to their online website. To apply for their degree candidate must fulfil basic admission criteria. For the PG programme, the candidate must have completed a bachelor's degree with valid marks. For P.hD degree candidate must have to qualify UGC-NET/CSIR/JRF/NET entrance exam with a valid score.
