Jogesh Chandra Chaudhuri Law College (JCCLC), Kolkata is a government law college in Kolkata affiliated with the University of Calcutta, Kolkata. JCCLC, Kolkata was established in 1970 by the Chaudhuri Foundation Trust with the contributions of Ranadeb Chaudhuri and his family with the assistance of legal luminaries of Bengal, who went on to form the college’s first governing body.

JCCLC, Kolkata is named after Jogesh Chandra Chaudhuri- an important functionary of the Indian independence struggle. JCCLC, Kolkata is a University Grants Commission (UGC)-approved institution. Admission Procedure

 

To get admission to Jogesh Chandra Chaudhuri Law College, Kolkata students have to qualify for an aptitude exam that is directly administered by the University of Calcutta serves. Admission to B.A LL.B. begins right after the announcement of the Higher Secondary Exam results. Applicants should have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board/ Council with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in case of SC/ST/P.H. candidate.

JCCLC Kolkata also offers a postgraduate  Master of Law ( LLM ) degree. To apply for their PG degree candidate must qualify for an entrance examination conducted by the University of Calcutta. Final admission is based on merit basis.
