Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi (JHU New Delhi) is a renowned university located in New Delhi, India. Established in 1906, the university is named after the famous Unani physician and scholar, Hakeem Hafiz Abdul Majeed. It is known for its excellence in teaching and research in the fields of Medicine, Pharmacy, Unani Medicine, Nursing, Management, and Information Technology. JHU New Delhi was declared a deemed-to-be University by the Govt. of India in 1989 on the recommendation of University Grants Commission (UGC) and is designated as Institute of Eminence [IoE], by the Government of India.
The campus of JHU New Delhi is spread over 100 acres of land and is situated in the heart of New Delhi. Admission Procedure

Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi offers various Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Diploma, and Doctoral courses in its 13 Schools in the field of Engineering, Management, Medical Science, Nursing, Pharmacy, Science, Media & Mass Communication, Arts and Unani. 

All JHU New Delhi programme applications must be submitted online using the Online Admission Portal. Those who have passed JEE Main are eligible to apply for the B.Tech programme. The institution conducts interviews in addition to the Common University Entrance Test CUET UG exam to determine admission to BA, BBA, BCA, and B.Com. To be admitted to the MBBS programme, applicants must pass the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test NEET-UG exam. Candidates who have passed the NET or JRF are free from taking the PhD entrance exam and will instead

The NEET UG score is also used to grant admission to B.Sc. (Medical), BOT, BPT, B.Sc. (Nursing), BUMS, and B.Pharm courses. Regarding their performance on the qualifying exam and interview, non-NEET students may also apply. For the MBA programme, the student must have a passing score on the Common Admission Test (CAT)/ Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) / Management Aptitude Test (MAT)/ Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) / Xaver Aptitude Test ( XAT)/ Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GPAT) / ATMA. Those who have passed Joint Entrance Exam JEE Main are eligible to apply for the B.Tech.

The Placement Cell of Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi assists each student in examining placement opportunities by inviting different companies to campus to recruit students who are in their final year of study and are likely to graduate at the end of the academic year. Companies attend Pre-Placement Talks, Group Discussions, and Written Tests; following that, the short-listed candidates are interviewed on or off campus.

The Placement Cell's final placements are the result of very methodical interactions with the business community and ongoing career counselling for the students. Students receive ongoing career guidance beginning with the first module of the programme, and this guidance is vigorously followed up with potential employers for participation in Placementcell's placement programme.
