Admission Procedure
International Institute of Information Technology, Bengaluru offers M.Tech, M.Sc, and Ph.D. Admission takes place following an online procedure. Students who have Bachelor's degree in any course with a minimum of 50% marks, from any recognized college or institute are eligible to apply for the PG courses at IIIT Bengaluru. Students need to have a Master's degree to apply for the Ph.D course. Applications for the same can be submitted via the admissions portal on the official website of IIIT Bengaluru.
The students applying for the Integrated M.Tech courses are required to clear the Joint Entrance Examination MAin (JEE-Main) with qualifying marks.Eligible marks in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is required for the students applying in courses like M.Tech and Ph. D courses. For applying in the M.Sc in Digital Society course the applying students must have qualifying marks in Common Admission Test (CAT)/ Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED)/ Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET). The final admission will be provided on the basis of all these eligibility criteria.

Scholarships
International Institute of Information Technology, Bengaluru offers the "CGI Scholarship" for the top 20 girl students (as per their JEE-Main score) who join the M.Tech programme. Each of the 20 girl students will receive 100% tuition waiver for the 1st semester. IIIT Bengaluru has been receiving sponsorship for 100% Tuition Fee waiver for five top performing JEE rank holders who join the flagship 5-Year Integrated M.Tech. Programme. Those who have obtained JEE Mains NTA Rank of 999 or better are eligible for this unique Tuition Waiver scheme. Students are selected for Merit Based Scholarships on the basis of the Dean’s List promulgated by the office of Deans every year. Other scolarships are "Utkarsha Scholarship", etc.
