IMS Noida has six primary departments: School of Information Technology, School of Management, School of Journalism and Mass Communication, School of Law, and School of Design; both Bachelor's degree and diploma courses are offered in each of these respective disciplines. Admission for all undergraduate courses at IMS Noida is based on a candidate's eligibility and performance in their own Joint Entrance Test (JET). In order to be eligible for admission, applicants must have successfully completed a 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised board. Admission to the diploma programs is based on merit and is followed by a personal interview. Reservations in admissions are employed based on state government policies. They have maintained a remarkable placement record over the years. Graduates of IMS Noida have been hired in positions of Human Resource Management, BCA, Associate Analyst, Technical Consultant, Content Developer, Academic Consultant, Software Developer, and other course-based roles. Seminars and workshops are an integral part of the IMS Noida curriculum. The campus consists of a large auditorium which is equipped with all modern technical aids, such as LCD and sound systems. The Lecture Halls at IMS Noida are extremely spacious and designed scientifically to ensure the most effective and interactive learning experience for students. There are several course-specific labs present on campuses such as: Robotics Lab, AI Lab, Audio-visual Lab, Web-design Lab, Hardware Lab, FMCG Retail Lab, Media Communication Lab, Journalism Lab, Print Media Lab, Broadcasting Lab, Design Lab, Graphics Lab. For students and staff at IMS Noida, there is a well-equipped library on campus. An expansive collection of books, periodicals, magazines, and other resources can be found in the library. It has a broad selection of books on management, information systems, management, law, economics, the environment, and finance, among other areas. A number of famous national and international journals, magazines, periodicals, newspapers, and information bulletins are available through the library's subscriptions. There’s a regular medical check-up facility available on campus for students and staff along with an IMS Noida Medical Center and first-aid unit.

The entire campus of IMS Noida is Wi-Fi enabled with high internet connectivity. Transportation facilities are also provided to students travelling from far-off places to campus. Admission Procedure

Institute of Management Studies, Noida accepts students for a variety of undergraduate, Postgraduate and diploma programmes like B.C.A, B.B.A, BA in Journalism and Mass Communication, B.Sc in Jewellery Design, B.Des in Fine Arts and Design, Diploma in Accessory Design, MA in Journalism and Mass Communication and MCA.

Applying candidates are required to have qualifying marks in their 10+2 examination from a recognized board for applying to the undergraduate courses. For postgraduate courses, the candidate must have a bachelor's degree from a recognized University and for the Diploma degree, the candidate must have pass the 10th standard examination from a recognized board.

Additionally, the candidates are required to have qualifying marks in the Joint Entrance Test (JET) conducted by the IMS Noida for applying to any of the undergraduate and postgraduate courses except for MCA, as applying to this degree, the candidates are required to have qualifying marks in the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE).
