Admission Procedure

Institute of Hotel Management, Bangalore offers undergraduate, graduate, diploma, and certificate programmes in a variety of hotel administration specialties. For both the B.Sc and M.Sc courses, admission is determined on an entrance exam. Admission to the Diploma, Post-Graduate Diploma, and Craftsmanship Course is purely merit-based. All of the courses offered at IHM Bangalore have an online application process. While NCHMCT sets the admission guidelines for B.Sc and M.Sc, IHM Bangalore sets the admission policy for all other degrees. Admission to the B.Sc program is based on the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology-Joint Entrance Examination (NCHMCT-JEE) scores.

IHM Bangalore also offers a postgraduate Master of Science ( Hospitality Administration ) degree course, interested candidates can apply through their online website. For their postgraduate degree, admission is based on personal interview and merit basis.
