The Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai (ICT Mumbai) is a valued institution in the field of technology and chemical science. Focused on providing quality education the university has a distinct library namely the M.M. Sharma library, which has more than 77102 volumes of books and journals. Wifi facilities are also available for the students to ensure a hassle free learning process. To help students achieve good academic results the ICT Mumbai campus also has different laboratories namely Chemistry Lab, Computer Lab, Physics Lab, Chemical Engineering Lab, Biotechnology Lab, Pharmaceutical Lab, and Central Instrumentation Lab.

The Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai conducts an admission procedure for the undergraduate courses of B.Tech in specializations like Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, Oils, Oleochemicals and Surfactants Technology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology, Dyestuff Technology, Polymer Engineering and Technology, Surface Coating Technology, Fibres and Textile Processing Technology and Pharmacy which are based on the entrance exams. ICT Mumbai offer M. CHEM. , M. Tech., M. PHARM., M.Sc, PhD, and PGDM course. Candidates must pass the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), which is administered on a national level, in order to be considered for admission to the M.Chem. Engg., M.Tech., and M. E. (Plastic Engg.) degrees. The Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT), which is administered at the national level, must be passed in order for applicants to the M. Pharm. programme to be considered.
