Indian Maritime University (IMU Chennai) was established in 2008 as a Central University by the Government of India. It is a premier institution that offers undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma programs in maritime education and training. Admission Procedure
Indian Maritime University, Chennai follows an online admission procedure. Students need to qualify the 10+2 level examination from science stream to be eligible for the undergraduate courses, and complete their graduations to be eligible for the postgraduate courses at IMU Chennai. IMU Chennai, being a central university, has all its admissions take place through the Common Universities Entrance Test (CUET). Additionally, IMU Chennai also conducts the IMU Common Entrance Test (IMU CET) for admission to all courses other than BBA.
