Admission Procedure
Indian Institute of Technology, Jodhpur's admissions are conducted online. To apply for their undergraduate degrees, candidates must meet all the required eligibility requirements of the course for which they candidate is applying for. The candidate has to go through the online admission process on the website. Most importantly the candidates must get a valid Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) score in order to be admitted to B.Tech programmes. While the admission criteria and eligibility differ from course to course, all students must have passed their 10+2 school leaving test from a recognised board of secondary education. Primarily admission to this IIT, Jodhpur takes place on the merit obtained in the foresaid exams.
IIT Jodhpur also offers courses for the M.Tech, M.Sc., Dual degree in MSc- Mtech, M.Tech-PHD and PhD degrees. For admission to the M.Tech program, candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and pass the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). whereas candidates for the M.Sc programme must also pass the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM), The PhD programme also requires a master's degree with at least 60% of the required marks in order to be admitted.
