Indian Institute of Technology, Indore provides a wide range of infrastructural facilities for the comfort of its staff and students. As an eminent institution they believe these facilities are necessary for students' success in college. This includes appropriate medical care, suitable housing for teachers and students, transportation, a library, labs, restaurants, a market, a workshop, a counselling centre, a bank, an ATM etc.
IIT Indore has facilities for various outdoor and indoor sports like volleyball, basketball, cricket, football, tennis, table tennis, chess etc.
To discuss the infrastructure in detail they have a library with a huge collection of 35,583+ books, over 575 theses and dissertations, also the library provides hindi and english daily newspapers to the readers. The library also has a digital section where users can access more than 2,540 e-journals, 7,600 e-books along with 11 bibliographic databases and many more.
There are seven eateries which serve good hygienic food; these dining places include cafes, restaurants etc. There are many hostels called ‘halls of residence’ which are fully furnished apartments to accommodate boys and girls separately.
The IIT Indore provides eco-friendly transport service through green vehicles throughout the campus. There is also a convenience store called ‘La Fresco Store’ to cater the daily needs of the students. There is a medical centre with an ambulance and a team of doctors and nurses for all time medical support. These facilities at IIT Indore guarantee that the campus is suitable for accommodating the needs of the staff and students.
