Admission Procedure
Indian Institute of Science Education & Research, Pune (IISER Pune), follows an online method of admission. Admission to IISER Pune is done based on the merit and eligibility criteira of the applicants. IISER Pune offers Integrated courses under the faculty of Bachelor of Science-Masters of Science (BS MS) and Integrated Doctor of Philosophy respectively. IISER Pune also offers PhD courses.
Applicants applying for Integrated BS MS courses to IISER Pune must appear for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Advanced) and selection is done based on the secured ranks of the applicants in the entrance exam. Applicants also must have passed Higher Secondary Examination in Science Stream from any recognized board.
Applicants applying for Integrated Doctor of Philosophy to IISER Pune must have secured Undergraduate Degree from any recognized unicersity with the respective or concerend subjects. Applicants applying for Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) courses to IISER Pune must have secured Masters Degree in the respective and concerned subjects from any recognized university.
