Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Mohali (IISER Mohali) is one of the autonomous universities of Punjab promoting eminence in higher studies. INSPIRE scholarship is only provided to students pursuing BS-MS (Integrated) degree.

Admission Procedure

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Mohali (IISER Mohali), follows an online method of admission. Applicants are selected based on their merit and eligibility criteria. IISER Mohali offers Integrated courses under the faculties of Bachelor of Science + Master of Science, Master of Science + Doctor of Philosophy and PhD courses respectively. Applicants applying for BS + MS courses at IISER Mohali must appear for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) and selection is based on the secured ranks of the applicants. Applicants also need to pass Higher Secondary Examination from any recognized board with concerned subjects. Applicants applying for Integratred Master of Science + Doctor of Philosophy courses to IISER Mohali must have passed Undergraduate degree of the concerned courses. Applicants applying for PhD courses to IISER Mohali must have secured MSc degree of the concerned subjects. Selected applicants are called in for interviews before the final selection.
